Love the different reflective surfaces you found! What if the 5 images were a progression, transitioning from the first emotion (elated) to the last (disappointed), and were more specific?
Abbie: What if you specified that the reflective surface should add to or "reflect" (ha, get it?) the emotion? What can you do to help the students to more thoughtfully consider the link between the emotion and the physical look of the photo? Allie: I love the variety of surfaces you used, and the effects they have on the photo. Was there specific considerations about what surface to use with what emotion? Did you find that the constraint of taking the pictures in the reflective surface added something additional to engage with in a thoughtful and intentional way?
